Our community events are hosted by Restoration Reach, the outreach ministry of The House of Restoration Church, created to spread love, awaken joy, and bring people together—right where they are. Through smiles, games, conversations, community education, care, and creative acts of kindness, we show up for our city with open hearts, open hands, and the hope of Jesus—no pressure, just presence. Birmingham Public Library Bookmobile
Birmingham Public Library Bookmobile

The vehicle, called BPL Mobile, is far more than a traditional bookmobile. On BPL Mobile, patrons are able to take advantage of many services available in libraries across Birmingham such as:
- Books
- Computers
- Free Wi-Fi
- Citizen services such as notarizing, and printing
- Programs and activities such as library story times and STEM
BPL Mobile vehicle is a result of a collaboration between BPL and the Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority (BJCTA), and local developer Ed Ticheli. In 2021, the BJCTA d onated a para-transit bus to BPL, allowing the library system to provide mobile library services by bookmobile to the 99 neighborhoods of the City of Birmingham. This valuable service is an innovative approach to bridging the digital divide and expanding citizen services to underserved communities.

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children’s lives on and off the field through best-in- class coaching, communication and curriculum. Our coaches are the best-trained in the business. Our expert-approved curriculum is age-appropriate for ages 2-5 and aligns with childhood education standards.
